Mas Llopart is an antique Catalan Masia (farm house).
The lower areas were traditionally occupied by a family, who managed the farm for the absentee owners.

These traditional and rustic areas have been carefully restored, preserving the entire original building materials and features; fire-place, stone bread making oven, and vine cellar. Modern day comforts have been integrated such as en-suite bathrooms, central heating and fully equipped kitchen.

The house covers one level, and is comprised of a well appointed kitchen with breakfast bar, two dining rooms - inside & outside, both with seating for 12 people. Two of the four bedrooms are inter-connected sharing a bathroom, whilst the other two are en-suite.
The main seating room is furnished with a couch, a sofa-bed, TV, DVD, board games table .
The old cellar has been adapted as a smaller seating room.
There is a children’s corner, and an additional cloakroom.
The outside leisure facilities include, fenced swimming pool, barbeque, outside porch. Additionally, there is a woodland area and landscaped gardens.

Self contained apartment . Sleeps 2-4

A self-contained, ground level apartment is also available for letting.
The apartment is comprised of very large, central heated, rooms, with a kitchenette, bathroom, and a divided sleeping/seating area with television. It has an outside shaded seating area, and the use of all the outside leisure facilitie.

Can Llopart, is situated in the valley of Arbucias, in the county of ‘La Selva’ (the jungle).

The name, ‘La Selva’ is derived from the hilly and densely wooded landscape. The valley, is surrounded by the pre-littoral mountain range ‘El Montseny’. This is a designated Nature Park, which has been declared a biosphere reserve.

This is an area of outstanding beauty throughout the year, offering opportunities for hill walking, cycling and hiking, to people of all ages, and all levels of experience.

Where to go

0-1 kms
The nearby surroundings are tranquil but of incomparable beauty. The view is
dominated by the mountains of the Montseny, with the castle of Monsoriu overlooking the Masia.
The river of Arbucias can be reached within a 15 min. walk. Local restaurants are also within a 15 min. walk.

3-6 Kms
The nearby villages of Breda, Arbucias, and Hostalric boast outstanding views, excellent restaurants
and beautiful architecture. Weekly markets, fairs and festivals are held year- round. In all of them you will
experience a wealth of local customs and view the way of life in rural, un-spoilt Catalonia.

15-20 Kms
The small market town of San Celoni is starting point for the many routes into the Montseny,
and also boasts of the Michelin *** restaurant of ‘ Reco de can Fabes’.

15 – 20 Kms
Blanes and Lloret de Mar, situated on the Costa Brava.

40 Kms
The medieval town of Girona (near the airport with the same name). With beautiful cobbled streets,
stone arches and one Europe’s best preserved Jewish quarters.

70 Kms
Figeras, a lovely market town, birth place of Dali and home of the world famous Dali museum.
